Hi, I’m Dr. Mike Norouzinia (Nor-ow-zeen-e-ya), but you can call me Dr. N. I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio College of Dentistry in 2011. Subsequently, I moved to Kansas City where I received a Master’s Degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and a Certificate in Periodontics. In 2015, I completed the written and oral exam for the Board Certification process, which has granted me the status of “Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.” I am also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and enjoy keeping up with the latest research and treatment techniques. I relentlessly pursue continuing education opportunities to refine my surgical skills and patient care.
I was initially drawn to dentistry through my volunteering experience at a dental clinic that provided free services to those in need. Still today, I find meaning and passion in helping patients pursue beautiful, healthy smiles. I feel blessed to enjoy my job, and I am thankful for the opportunity to meet so many interesting people.
I am an eager outdoor enthusiast, and so I jumped at the chance to move to Colorado in 2015 after working at a practice in Pflugerville, Texas, for approximately one year after my residency. Since moving here, I have grown my business “In House Perio” and relish the opportunity to provide quality specialty services to patients within the comfort of their dentist’s office. I believe communication is the key to excellent care and effective professional relationships; I strive to listen carefully and communicate precisely in every interaction. I value my integrity and teach my team to diagnose accurately and provide high-quality treatment plans for each patient.
When I’m not working, I enjoy participating in all that Colorado offers including hiking, snowshoeing and snowboarding.
