The artwork in the winter 2021 exhibition at Denver University’s Vicki Myhren Gallery may be newly acquired, but, in a way, they are back where they belong. Together, the featured artists —including Colorado muralist Allen Tupper True and Duane Michals, who makes world-renowned work at the intersection of photography, collage, and text—span more than a hundred years of DU alumni and faculty. To see Coming Home without leaving home, the gallery’s website will feature an immersive virtual tour of the exhibition hall, plus videos created by curators and artists.
