Clyfford Still is most famous for his work as an abstract expressionist painter, but he also spent a lot of time exploring life through a camera lens. During this retrospective, guests can see 70 of the renowned artist’s photographs, which range from Still’s self-portraits to snapshots that served as reference points for his artwork. Curators chose the images from more than 23,000 options in the museum’s archives, which highlights the amount Still created that patrons haven’t seen.
