Collecting Fire Toys

Denver Firefighters Museum
1326 Tremont Place
Denver, CO 80204

Your aspiring firefighters will light up as they step inside Denver’s original Firehouse Number 1 and examine around 40 historic toys inspired by the firefighting profession. The exhibit features handmade fire engine models that date back to the early 20th century, as well as more modern fire truck toys from Tonka and Hotwheels collected by the museum. A new handmade wooden model of Denver’s Fire Engine Number Four, created by a local firefighter, is featured as the newest addition to the museum’s collection.
