Evolving Visions of Land and Landscape

Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art
1750 13th St.
Boulder, CO 80302

This stunning exhibit features works from 26 artists, all of whom explore their perceptions of Colorado’s ever-changing landscapes. Attendees can peruse pieces in a wide variety of media, including works from midcentury photographer Robert Adams and modern photographer James Balog as well as paintings by Max Beckmann, a German expressionist who briefly lived in Boulder in the ’40s. Don’t miss an installation of Navajo prints, which blends mythology with masterfully rendered, realist depictions of Centennial State scenery. Tue-Sun 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
