Four Whales and a Dolphin
At this unconventional exhibition of paintings, Denver artist Sierra Barela will showcase a collection of images that juxtapose innocent subjects—such as Disney princesses and dolphins—and more adult themes. Her works, which are reminiscent of collages, are intriguing not only because they contain peculiar combinations of images, but also because she uses a wide variety of techniques, including abstraction and figuration, to create them.
