Learn how to become Denver’s next great master brewer at this three-day, intensive class on grain. Begin by studying the history and culture of heritage ancient grains (grains that have not been changed or adapted over the last seven hundred years) and how they compare to modern grains (think: oat and spelt versus wheat and corn). Students will then dig into the art of grain production and how to grow, mill, malt, bake, and brew heritage ancient grains.
