While modern activism might burgeon on social media platforms, this community-led art initiative is taking advocacy back to its (grass) roots. The eco-exhibition, which is part of a nationwide project spearheaded by environmental advocacy group the Canary Project will feature handmade, Earth-minded posters submitted by amateur Breckenridge artists and strung up around the mountain town. The eye-popping papers will inform onlookers about local environmental issues, like fossil fuels and wildfires, hopefully inspiring them to take steps toward sustainability.
