In this regional premiere, Christian fundamentalism meets Avenue Q in Hand of God, a cheeky, Tony-nominated play about coming of age and the grieving process. The comedy follows a small town Texas teen who is pushed into joining a puppet group run by his mother’s church following his father’s death. As his foul-mouthed hand puppet Tyrone develops a personality and thoughts, Jason must confront his own faith and come to terms with his grieving process. Thu-Sat 8 p.m.; Sun 2 p.m.
