Blue and white porcelain from China’s Qing Dynasty and stone sculptures from 12th-century India serve as the stars of this historically themed exhibit. Curated by Tianlong Jiao, the Asian art curator at the the Denver Art Museum, this show explores a variety of historical themes, including the exchange of cross-cultural beliefs and ideas along ancient trade routes. About 150 sculptures, ceramics, textiles, and scrolls spanning nearly 2,000 years will be on display from 20 different countries, including China, Persia, and India.
