Come treat yourself to a taste of Hawaii. As part of Artsweek Golden, the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is hosting its own Luau to showcase its Hawaiian Quilt exhibit. These 28 hand-crafted quilts date back to 1890 and feature sprawling floral designs, turn of the century flags, and gorgeous needlework. Visitors can soak in the brilliant colors and stunning craftsmanship while enjoying island inspired cuisine such as mango salsa, tropical punch, and teriyaki pork. Finish off the night with one last glance of your favorite quilt and a piece of pineapple upside-down cake for the road.
