Mathias Kessler: Artifacts & Other Errors of Perception

Austrian artist Mathias Kessler’s quirky installments explore how we use certain objects to define what is reality using various mediums such as ice-art kept in open refrigerators, mirrors, wallpaper, and 3-dimensional printing. Kessler’s material work is just one component of the exhibit: Each Thursday, he will invite performers, including comedians, dancers, and even body painters, into the gallery to put on a live show for viewers. Bonus: Don’t miss his most famous piece from the exhibit—an arresting and detailed depiction of beautiful coral growing around a skull. Tue-Sun 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
