New Territory: Landscape Photography Today

Denver Art Museum
100 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy.
Denver, CO 80204

Contemporary landscape photography takes an innovative turn at this unexpected exhibition. See more than 80 photographs that apply experimental techniques to shots of the environment and represent a reflection on the complex relationship between humans and the natural world. Gary Emrich’s All Consumed series juxtaposes landscape scenes with litter such as discarded plastic water bottles, and Matthew Brandt’s prints of California’s Lake Isabella have been dipped into the actual lake.
