If hearing “Pueblo” makes you think of steel rather than art, maybe this showcase of the city’s burgeoning creative corridor will leave you with a pleasant new impression. Don’t miss the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center’s exhibition of John Suhay photographs, which depict everyday life in contemporary Pueblo, or new watercolor and acrylic works from award-winning painters Kay Bauman, Shirley Meyer and Joann Faulk. After checking out the visual artists, head to a book signing featuring local authors Sandra Wells and Betty Alt, who will discuss their new book Death Invades the Rectory, the story of the aftermath of the murder of two Pueblo priests. Fri 5 p.m.-8 p.m.
