Colorado’s ephemeral wildflowers bloom only once a year, leaving flora enthusiasts wanting for their presence when they’re gone. Luckily, Durango-based herbalist Jenn Rawling is taking her botany bona fides to the canvas, and creating more than 15 acrylic paintings and linoleum prints depicting local plant life. Expect renderings of native Colorado nature, such as green Yucca shrubs and bright red poppies inspired by the blossoms in Rawling’s own backyard, which you can take home to immortalize the natural beauties before they go into their perennial hibernation.
