Seedlings: The Dinosaur Garden

Denver Botanic Gardens
1007 York St.
Denver, CO 80206

Your tiny paleontologists will learn all about dinosaur diets during this prehistoric playtime. Participants will examine fossils and learn about the plants that made up dinosaurs’ environments millions of years ago, including mosses, ferns, and liverwort. Children will learn about the types of dinosaurs that ate each through songs and hands-on activities, such as creating plant-inspired artwork to hang up at home.
