Tennessee-based painter Mia Bergeron marries realism and abstraction in this new body of work exploring the theme of loneliness. In many of her pieces, Bergeron blurs the distinction between her photorealistic subjects and their backgrounds, disrupting our understanding of the subjects as individuals. This solo show—the artist’s first in Denver—will also feature a selection of still lifes, including a few of her richly textured depictions of flowers and insects. Tue-Sat 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
