Somewhere to Nowhere

For this thought-provoking exhibition, local painter Shawn Huckins layers phrases from vintage love letters, postcards, and American folk songs over his acrylic paintings of pastoral scenes. By drawing attention to examples of emotional language from the past, he aims to make us consider how we talk about our feelings in the Internet age.
