This intimate black-and-white photography exhibit by Kansas-based artist Daniel W. Coburn challenges our ideas about traditional family photos and the role they play in our understanding of the American Dream. Coburn draws inspiration from haunting events in his own family’s past, including domestic violence and suicide, to capture honest moments of loved ones in quiet tragedy.
