Voice: A Celebration of Refugee Stories
The news is full of tales about mother-child separation at the Mexico-U.S border and the plight of Syrian families, but those headlines don’t always spur us to take a look at the individual people involved. This moving exhibit hopes to change that. Immigrant artists from around the world will submit personal pieces for this show, which will accept every submitted work as long as it’s framed. Many of the artists will be present at the opening reception, so you can literally get to know them in an intimate setting.
