Sweeping views, hot barbecue and live music at the iconic former home of Hunter S. Thompson make for the perfect Fourth of July party. In its second year, Wildfest will give thanks for independence and public lands with remarks from the Sierra Club’s Executive Director Michael Brune, activism booths, and award-winning beer from Aspen Brewing Company. And for the kids: face painting, hula hoops and magic shows will be featured in the name of conservation.
