In honor of President Barack Obama’s visit to Denver, here are the results of top presidents of all time based on leadership ability, selected by historians for a C-SPAN survey.

The top three on the list are Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Surprisingly, Richard M. Nixon is not in the bottom 10. George W. Bush, however, is. He ranks 36 of 42, finishing just above Millard Fillmore. John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan both make the top 10.
