David also represents financial institutions, advising them on trust administration, taxation and reformation matters.
David graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Order of St. Ives. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver. David maintains an active lecturing schedule, speaking both locally and nationally in the areas of family limited partnership planning, generation-skipping tax planning, and estate and business succession planning. He is ranked by Chambers HNW: Private Wealth Law in Colorado and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America©. David is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and served as the Tax Group coordinator for the firm's Denver office from 2000 to 2010. He is active in the community and serves as Professional Advisory Counsel for the Denver Foundation as well as being a member of the Legacy Planning Advisory Council for the Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation.
