The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 10,473-acre Refuge for Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other large carnivores that are rescued from illegal or abusive situations. Rescued animals are rehabilitated and released into natural large acreage habitats where they can live in peace with others of their own species. The Sanctuary is home to more than 500 rescued animals and is open to visitors seven days a week for educational purposes.
