At Volunteers of America Colorado Branch, we provide shelters for homeless women and children, safe places for victims of domestic violence, transitional living programs, supportive housing for those challenged with mental health and services for veterans. We also address the basic needs of an aging population through affordable housing, Meals on Wheels and other senior nutrition programs, and handyman services. Volunteers of America seeks to end the cycle of poverty through compassionate, faith-based transformational programs and services.
Volunteers of America Colorado is taking the lead in developing affordable housing in this time of crisis and housing-shortage. Our programs offer permanent, temporary and transitional residents with support services designed to foster self-sufficiency.

“Our work is not all bread and shelter. The underprivileged, the weak and the unfortunate need more. They need sympathy, the warmth of fellowship, and the instilling of courage.”
