Located in the basement of an old house, this restaurant has been a Boulder staple since 1923. Guests are encouraged to leave a piece of themselves behind and graffiti the six-and-a-half feet high ceilings. Try the texas onion straw burger, with provolone and cheddar cheeses, jalapenos, and a chipotle mayonnaise, or the buddha basil pizza, with tomato, tofu, spinach, artichoke hearts, and mozzarella. Both dishes were featured on the Food Network’s Dinner’s, Drive-ins and Dives.
