Founded in Silverton, but now located in downtown Crested Butte, Montanya Distillers has been brewing their award-winning Oro and Platino Rums since 2008 with Hawaiian sugar cane and pure mountain water. Try the Montanya Sidecar, made with the darker of their rums.

You’ll need:

3 ounces Montanya Oro Rum

One fresh orange, juiced

1/2 lemon or lime, juiced

1/4 ounces simple syrup

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a martini glass or over ice. Garnish with an orange peel twist or orange wedge.
