Art lovers can explore street art, live music, special events and more in the art districts. The Art District on Santa Fe is steeped in Latino heritage, the River North Art District (RiNo) is famous for its street art and industrial revival, the Westwood Creative District is one of the state’s newest certified creative districts, and the 40 West Arts District is featuring Aztec dancers and fire artists during a district-wide Día de los Muertos celebration.

Night at the Museums

Free Night at the Museums on Nov. 6 offers a chance to experience Denver’s top museums as they open their doors late while providing FREE admission between 5 and 10 p.m. Even better, free shuttles make it easy to explore all evening! Check out world-class cultural institutions such as the Clyfford Still Museum, which is paying homage to the past with a new exhibition, A Decade of Discovery: Clyfford Still in Denver; see Denver Art Museum’s expanded and reimagined campus; and don’t miss a new exhibition, Survival of the Slowest, at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science where you can meet fascinating live animals like a two-toed sloth and see an IMAX film. The ultra-unique Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, meanwhile, is back after a temporary closure and History Colorado Center is featuring a time-traveling adventure called Building Denver: Visions of the Capital City.

Note: These museums and others are scheduled to participate, and may require advance registration and/or have capacity limitations and safety guidelines. PLEASE CHECK WITH INDIVIDUAL MUSEUMS PRIOR TO YOUR VISIT.
