Where to Find Affordable Pet Vaccinations This Week

By |

Spring has arrived in my neighborhood in the shape of adorable, fuzzy, wiggly puppies. It seems as though everyone around me has adopted one.

For those of you with new dogs, swing by the Pet Station Wednesday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m for low-cost vaccinations and a microchip clinic through the Mobile Vaccination Practice.

If you don’t know which shots your furry friend needs, staffers will be on site to answer questions and offer advice. Among the vaccinations and services available are a five-in-one (including parvovirus and leptospirosis vaccines) for $15, a rabies shot for $15, a bordetella shot (for kennel cough) for $15, and a heartworm test for $35.

They’ll also be offering a microchip, which can help track lost dogs, for $50. The cost includes a lifetime registration.

And dogs aren’t the only animals Pet Station is helping out on Wednesday. Cats and ferrets are also welcome. There tends to be a rush at the beginning of the night, so arriving closer to 6:30 or 7 p.m. is recommended.
