Around the World in 180 Minutes: Take your taste buds on a trip around the world while benefiting Calico International Center. From Middle Eastern kabobs and spicy South American empanadas to Argentinian wines and German beers, you can fill your stomach with culture while enjoying live music and dance performances that connect you to Denver’s international community. Thursday, 7 to 10 p.m.; Tivoli Turnhalle, Auraria Campus, 900 Auraria Pkwy.

Brew & Stew: Get your fill of unlimited local beer, tasty stews, and delicious soups as part of the second-annual Brew & Stew. While indulging in these spreads, you can enjoy listening to Whiskey Tango, a local bluegrass/rock band and take part in a corn hole competition. Proceeds from the $40 ticket help support teen moms at Hope House. Friday, 6 to 9 p.m.; Mile High Station, 2027 W. Colfax Ave.

Casino Night: Brush up on your poker skills before heading to the high-stakes tables at Casino Night in the Emerald City. There’s something for everyone at this third-annual event, including an exclusive VIP lounge, an art exhibit, and an aerialist for entertainment. The exciting night of gambling and fun will benefit Adaptive Adventures Adaptive Sports for Kids, which helps rehabilitate more than 800 disabled youths through sports.
