Here’s some good news for Snooze fans in southeast Denver: Snooze DTC—the beloved chain’s 25th location, in fact—is under construction and set for a spring 2018 opening.

Taking over the former Woody Creek Bakery & Cafe space on South Syracuse Street (across the parking lot from Shanahan’s Steakhouse), the ninth Colorado Snooze outpost will be able to seat more than 110 people inside, with 40 more fitting on the outside patio. Snooze’s signature pops of orange, yellow, and green will dominate the dining room, but the most unique aspect of the DTC location will be the floor-to-ceiling glass walls surrounding the dining area. If you’re looking for a dark corner in which to nurse your pineapple upside pancakes after a long night out, you won’t find it here.

After looking at hundreds of possible locations, the Snooze team is confident they’ve found the perfect spot. “We have been searching for the perfect location for a long time,” says CEO David Birzon, “and are excited to join the community and bring the Snooze breakfast experience to the DTC neighborhood.”

As it always does, Snooze DTC plans to partner with two to three (as of yet unnamed) local organizations for its opening events in the spring; such events raised over $90,000 for community organizations in 2017. “Colorado is our home,” says Birzon, “and we are extremely thankful for all of the love and loyalty from our guests and the community since we opened our original location in 2006.”
