Colorado Legislature Names New Leaders

Members of the newly Democrat-dominated Colorado House and Senate met today to name their new leaders. Rep. Andrew Romanoff, D-Denver, will be speaker of the House, and Sen. Joan Fitz-Gerald, D-Golden, will serve as Senate president when the legislature reconvenes in January. Sen. Fitz-Gerald is the first woman to hold the post.
