Convention Center Opens Today

Downtown residents and workers have been dealing with the street closures and construction noise for over two years now, but the payoff is now as the new, expanded Colorado Convention Center finally opens for business. The expanded Convention Center is the fifteenth largest facility of its kind in the country and will be capable of hosting all but the largest 10% of conventions and trade shows. The $310 million center will be in the national eye early, as it will host events related to the NBA All Star Game this February.
