Death and Taxes

The dreaded day is quickly approaching. For those of us who owe Uncle Sam, April 15 looms on the horizon like a money-grubbing grim reaper. No one particularly likes tax day, but McCormick and Schmick's seafood restaurant in DTC is hoping to help ease the pain with a loooooong happy hour starting at 1 p.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. Drink specials include an "In the Red" bloody mary, or the "In the Black" Irish coffee, and their regular $1.95 happy hour menu will be in effect all afternoon. Come dinnertime, they'll even offer some pretty nifty $10.40 dinner specials; blackened Mako shark, grilled salmon, and chicken marsala are on the menu. Tax Day dread is inevitable, but saving a buck (and sipping a much deserved cocktail) just might help you through the day.
