After today's awards ceremony, I spent some time walking around Manhattan. In the space of a few hours, I walked by three Chipotles, and saw enough Carmelo Anthony jerseys to fill the Pepsi Center. I visited at least six sporting goods stores trying to buy a Knicks jersey for my son -- almost nobody had the Knicks, but everybody had racks and racks of Melo duds. P.S. The team store at Madison Square Garden closes at 3 in the afternoon. "City that never sleeps" my ass.
