State Supreme Court Justice Resigns
Colorado Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Courlis tendered her resignation today, after ten years of serving on the state high court's bench. She has a new endeavor lined up, but is keeping mum about it until January 10. It will have something to do with "justice."
Courlis, a Republican, is the daughter of former Colorado Gov. John Love, and was nominated to the Court by Democrat Roy Romer.
She recently was suggested to the White House as a U.S. Supreme Court candidate by Colorado U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar, also a Democrat, and others of both political parties.

Wonder what Harriet Miers is doing now?
(kidding)
Maybe Alito is going to withdraw and that's where Kourlis is headed next.
The country would certainly be better off with Kourlis over Alito.
Wishful thinking.
Alito's set to appear before the senate on January 9th. January 10th is Kourlis's announcement for the future.
Interesting.
