Bar Luxe Opens Tonight

Glad I got the evite in time. I need to go shopping. Bar Luxe opens tonight in Cherry Creek, with a "white hot" party theme and an all-white dress code for cocktailers wanting to participate. The new martini lounge is located at 231 Milwaukee St., in the bar area alongside what will soon be Euro, Marco Colantonio's latest restaurant project (formerly Steak au Poivre). I'm told it's super swanky inside, and I'm just certain that tonight's crowd will be every bit as beautiful as the newly redesigned interior of the bar. Saturday night, the Bar Luxe opening party continues with the same white hot theme. Guess I'd better pick which night I'll go... I'm certainly not going out and buying two new all white ensembles.

Both tSteak au Poivre and Euro were done as consulting jobs for which was under contract. Owners can be fickle. I don't know Lukas, but Sean is a disgruntled X employee who was duscharged for among other reasons, very alarming behavior. Denver is a great restaurant town, so enjoy, readers. Marco Colantonio

I agree with Luka. For some reason Marco has some sort of "god" complex. However; the man can not produce a reason why, he sucks as a restaraunt manager. He has major delusions of mediocritry.

So I guess after closing Steak au poivre after just 6 month and beeing unsuccesfully involved with other restaurants in Denver, Marco Con\lontonio will have another chance on ruining the next restaurant. Its sad that Denver cannot produce more sucessful restaurant visionairies.
