The Colorado Legislature may start televising its sessions. 34 states currently do so. I think it's a good idea that promotes transparency in Government. I'm just not sure how many people will watch. The better idea, which is also under consideration, is to stream the sessions for simultaneous and later viewing on the Internet. That way there's a readily accessible archive, and particularly when controversial topics are being debated, the sessions will be available 24/7 to all interested Coloradans. If you support the proposal, let House Speaker Andrew Romanoff know.
