Wednesday Wines

If you haven't been to Solera Restaurant's weekly wine tastings each Wednesday, you're missing out. Reps from the various vineyards or distributors are always on hand to walk you through each of five wines, and the casual atmosphere makes it ideal for one-on-one Q&A opportunities. Tonight, they'll take a look at a handful of Australian wines, including Red Mud's Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet, along with Nelwood Station Proprietary Red and Moonie River Proprietary White. It starts at 5:30 and wraps around 7:30, and at just $13 it's a steal of a deal -- especially when the reps pour out the rest of the open bottles, so stick around til the end for extra tastes.
