Costume Dramas
This weekend, it's all Halloween, all the time.
I'm planning to hit three separate Halloween parties; tonight it's the Haunted Hollywood party at the (supposedly haunted) Parkside Mansion. The theme is Dead Celebrities.
Saturday night I'm heading to the Alley Spookfest, a neighborhood block party in my old 'hood in Wash Park. Last year there were over 1000 people on the block, and the costumes are insanely cool. Anything goes for this event.
Later Saturday I'm planning to hit the Victorian and Fetish Ball, which will take over both the Diamond Cabaret and Tabu, the upstairs dance club. Sexy and skimpy is the idea for this bash, with either a Victorian bent (Think Vampire Lestat) or any fetish, from latex and body paint to tie-me-up-tie-me-down themes.
So. My dilemma is this: What on earth can I wear to all three parties? I don't want to have to make up several costumes. And the clock is ticking. Tick... tock... tick... tock.
