Clay Felker Dies

Clay Felker, the legendary editor who in many respects invented the modern city magazine, died today at the age of 82. In addition to founding New York magazine, he also edited of variety of great titles including Esquire, the Village Voice, and Manhattan Inc., and was considered to be one of the leading proponents of the New Journalism.
