New: Mile High Vienna Stand

New: Mile High Vienna Stand A trip up Santa Fe Drive delivered us to the doorstep of the four-week-old Mile High Vienna Stand. This industrial-style hot dog joint is a long time coming for Denver owners Sonny Jarock (a one-time Chicago resident), Tony Trujillo, and Jason Encinias. Now, 17 years of dreaming has come to fruition with a hot dog stand that tempts hungry Denverites with eats like tasty Chicago dogs--complete with celery salt, sport peppers, sweet pickle relish, and a poppy seed bun--Polish sausage, and Italian beef. Fries arrive hot and salty, service is friendly, and the space is spotless. Bonus: Find a meal deal in the $15 "six pack"--six franks dressed to your liking and fries, all served up in a handy carrying pack. 258 Santa Fe Drive, 720-379-4600 --Amanda M. Faison
