Good Stuff: Omnivore's Hundred

With books like The Omnivore's Dilemma and Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life, socially conscious food authors have made the what's-for-dinner question tough to answer. But last month, the British blog Very Good Taste simplified everything: Its authors developed a list of the 100 things every self-respecting omnivore must eat. Some of the items are easy to check off the list (Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut, pistachio ice cream), but others will take some active searching out (oxtail, baijiu). The list makes no pretexts that eating these items will help the sustainable food movement, but it should make mealtime a heck of a lot more fun.
