New: Urbanistic Tea & Bike Shop
What began in 1998 as Lily's Herbery, a specialty tea and foodstuff shop in Highland's Square, recently morphed into a tea and bike shop. The store, now called Urbanistic Tea & Bike Shop, has moved a half-block west to the space next to St. Kilian's Cheese Shop.
Much of the inventory remains the same with more than 140 varieties of tea (loose-leaf and otherwise), tea paraphernalia (think pots, presses, and cups), and culinary spices for sale.
The bike component--an in-store bike repair facility--sprung from bike mechanic and part-owner Ethan Bontrager, who saw a need to service Highland cyclists. Though an unconventional pairing of wares, the eclectic combo suits the neighborhood.
