Event: Blind & Naked Dinner

At most wine dinners, you assess the bottle's label while tasting the food and wine pairings--but not at Rioja's Blind & Naked Dinner. And that's what makes it so much fun. Tonight, chef Jennifer Jasinski and master sommelier Doug Kreni team up to test your palate with four courses (think pine nut-crusted wild mushroom cannelloni and seared scallops over rillettes of pork-roasted celery root) with paired wines. With each course, you'll swirl, sniff, and sip the corresponding vino and discuss your take (Red or white? Old World or New World?) before Kreni reveals the bottle. Whether you're a novice or an expert, this experience tests your knowledge and expands your repertoire. $85 per person (not including tax and gratuity) 6 p.m., 1431 Larimer St., 303-820-2282
