The most anticipated show of the Denver Center Theatre Company's upcoming season doesn't involve anyone from the resident company, writes The Denver Post, noting a "bit of scheduling hocus-pocus" to bring in 2008's Tony-winning best play, "August: Osage County." Hosting such productions, rather than launching one at home, will, however, help the DCTC make up for a $1 million budget cut. And at least Denver still has theater. In Trinidad, saving the stage has come down to the efforts of 9-year-old Zoë Revas, a budding performer, who does not want to see the Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre close, according to the Post.
