Aspenite George Gradow, the husband of fomer Playboy Bunny Barbi Benton, pleaded guilty in federal court in Denver Wednesday to obstructing a federal tax investigation:

The 65-year-old husband of ex-Playboy bunny Barbi Benton and father of two teenaged children faces up to 18 months in prison under his plea agreement....."We were going through an audit. I had certain terms in documents changed," Gradow said. "I was stupid, your honor. I thought that I could get away with it." [Judge]Daniel asked him why he did it. "Simply to deceive the Internal Revenue Service," Gradow said.

Gradow and Benton own and reside in one of the most expensive residences in Aspen. Named "Copper Palace," the home has more than 25,000 square feet and is worth $25 million.

Well, Barbie may not be the most honest person either. My boyfriend slept with her in the late 90's -- some event in Aspen. Were they seperated at the time? I didn't even know she was married when he told me the story last year (I've only been with him a few years). Since I've learned that she's been married all of this time, what does that say about my boyfriend -- what was his past really like?

i and my associate bill nowland worked with george in the early 80s.we both found him very honest and upstanding inspite of his abrasive nature.good luck and god bless.larry and bill.

i was barbis bodyguard and george gradow to me,was one of the most honest and fair men i have ever met, george i wish you and your family all the best,,your honesty should be an example....

He hasn't learned his lesson yet because I was a manager at The Mobile Home park in Council Bluffs Iowa and they fired me a month ago because I wouldn't change VIN numbers on titles to trailers.Steve Jundt is one of his crooked operations managers and refuses to pay me money owed for work done. I have contacted the Attorney Generals office regarding this matter as well as the US Attorney office. This man has 19 million dollars but yet the tenants in one of his mobile home parks are living in sewage because they don,t want to fix the pumps. He has a manager named Mike Lamb running his Iowa City moble home park who is a drug user, has been arrested for beating up women, and ripped alot of tenants off for their hard earned money.

I worked for the Gradows in California. They are kind and generous people. I will always have a special place in my heart for them. I wish them the best.

I worked with Mr. Grawdow and Miss Benton in both California and Aspen... give him credit for honesty and admission of guilt. He was always a generious person to those deserving.

come on, he got what he deserved.

I went to school with George Gradow and he was always a great guy...honest to the end! He was obviously feeling extremely generous one afternoon and treated my labrador to a hamburger at a local drive in. All the best to you, George!

DO I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THERE RESIDES NOWADAYS BARBI BENTON IN CALIFORNIA OR COLORED? SINCE I KNOW IT(HE,SHE) HAS SEEN HER VERY MUCH AND RECENTLY IN THE ANGELS.

can he still conduct business from prison?

[...] 005 That Didn’t Take Long In the second most honest admission of the day, the Democratic field for governor got quite a bit smaller today: Wealt [...]

"Simply to deceive the IRS"...You gotta admire his honesty. So many others get caught and play stupid and plead innocence...it's rare to find a criminal with integrity. God bless ya Gradow. Good luck in the joint...I'll keep an eye on the bunny and the palace while you're gone. :)
