When Denverite
Jackie Paul decided to launch her Web site,
Pure Addiction, in mid-2009, the economy was still tanking and shopping was no longer a favorite American pastime. But there remained a need for some women to spruce up their wardrobes, so Paul assembled a collection of quality, well-priced brands for her foray into online retailing.
The result is a site chock-full of handpicked, contemporary separates, such as draped leather jackets by Funktional, Alternative Apparel's modal-silk tanks, slim-cut denim from Siwy, and comfy sheepskin boots by Australia Luxe Collective.
Need something for that hot Valentine's Day date or upcoming cocktail party? Try a rocker-chic look with Blaque Label's batwing sequin minidress ($105, pictured) and a pair of black leggings (probably already in your closet). Polish it off with a Tylie Malibu leather-studded "Runaway" clutch ($350).
