Lunch Biz: Organixx's Asian Stir-Fry Salad

After forking my way through one too many Asian salads, my taste buds were turned off by the often bland combination of limp lettuce, shredded carrots, and raw cabbage. That was before I tried Organixx's lively take on the dish.

The LoDo spot’s emphasis on organic, local ingredients shines through in its Asian stir-fry salad, an ample bowl of mixed greens, cabbage, and fresh vegetables (roasted red peppers, zucchini, squash, red onions, button mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes) topped with crunchy noodles and a tangy, toasted sesame vinaigrette. I prefer my order with a helping of baked tofu, but meat-eaters can top it off with grilled chicken or roast beef for a satisfying (and healthy) lunch.
