Comfort Food: Madison Street's Rotisserie Chicken

There's something about roasted chicken that always satisfies. My latest find—and one that I've been raving about for days—came at Madison Street, the welcoming neighborhood grill in Congress Park.

The evening I dined, I was vacilating between ordering the chicken or the quinoa salad with shrimp. But when my server (rightfully) promoted the chicken as one of the restaurant's signature dishes, my decision was made. The rotisserie half chicken (you'll definitely take some home), is extremely juicy and tender, and it sits inside a flavorful pool of warm white wine jus. Served with fat and crunchy green beans and whole roasted red potatoes, the dish guarantees comfort regardless of the weather, occasion, or night of week.

Bonus: Dine on a Wednesday for half-priced bottles of wine.
